Few Arrests Made At OZZFEST Concert in Sacramento

July 20, 2007

According to Appeal-Democrat.com, the crowd at Tuesday's (July 17) Ozzfest concert at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Sacramento, California was "pretty benign," with only eight to 10 people arrested for minor offenses, a Yuba County Sheriff's Department official said.

Almost all of the arrests were for public intoxication or possession of alcohol in the parking lot, said Capt. Ron Johnson.

A check Wednesday morning showed at least six people booked into jail on suspicion of public intoxication. Bail was set at $1,000 in each case.
