FIASCO GENERAL To Perform Live For First Time In November

July 28, 2009

FIASCO GENERAL, the new band featuring Sami Kukkohovi (ex-SENTENCED bassist, current KYPCK stand-in guitarist) on guitar, has issued the following update:

"First of all, we will play our debut live show in Oulu, Finland, in November. We will play as a warm-up act for a 'bigger' band. We will publish the exact date and venue here a little bit later on.

"Secondly, we will most likely enter the studio to record some songs during the autumn. We have lots of songs ready, style-wise those range from ultra-heavy, doomy stuff to faster SABBATH-y groovy to hit-potential, catchy radio songs to country... Quite a cocktail there, huh? We will, of course, publish some songs [online] when they are recorded.

"Thirdly, a second guitarist has rehearsed with us lately. We will give his name to public a bit later on too if he will be officially part of our group."

FIASCO GENERAL in December 2008 posted a previously unheard demo version of a "new old song," "The River Is Runnning Red" on the group's MySpace page.

Currently unsigned, FIASCO GENERAL's lineup consists of the following musicians:

Risto Stenroos - Vocals
Sami Kukkohovi - Guitar
Harri Halonen - Bass
Anssi Vetämäjärvi - Drums
