Filming To Begin On New Black Metal Documentary In Cincinnati

February 11, 2010

Black Station Productions has announced that filming will commence on location in Cincinnati, Ohio for its 2010 documentary on black metal, titled "Out of the Black". Executive producer and political blogger William "Shack" Shackleford says, "We want to capture the real scene, not some contrived nonsense. The regional scene is becoming more brutal in regards to the music and we want to capture this. It may not all be quote 'black metal,' but we are telling a complex story about the music and thrash and death metal certainly fit into the storyline."

Black Station Productions is planning on a late 2010 release and says many will be surprised at their approach. Field producer Jack Sawyers adds, "We want to tell the story through the musics eyes and key in on the real social/religious aspects of black metal. We will not follow the tabloid mold."

Filming will commence on March 19 at the Inner Circle Entertainment Complex (formerly Annie's) in Cincinnati and will continue on May 6 at Dirty Jacks in Cincinnati.
