FINNTROLL, PROFUGUS MORTIS Members Interviewed On 'The Governor's Ball'; Audio Available

October 7, 2008

Guitarist Mikael "Routa" Karlbom of Finland's FINNTROLL and vocalist Paul Ablaze of the Montreal-based sympho/black/folk/power metal band PROFUGUS MORTIS were interviewed for this week's edition of the "The Governor's Ball". You can download the program at this location.

FINNTROLL's fifth album, "Ur Jordens Djup", entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 91. The CD, which was recorded by Nino Laurenne at Sonic Pump studios in Helsinki, is the group's first release with frontman Mathias Lillmåns (a.k.a. Vreth) following the departure of Tapio Wilska (SETHIAN, ex-WIZZARD, former session vocalist for NIGHTWISH) in January 2006.

PROFUGUS MORTIS' new six-song EP, "Another Round", is scheduled for release on November 25 via Prodisk.

According to a press release, "Another Round" features "the most epic and folk-inspired PROFUGUS MORTIS material to date. The new CD is expected to outsell the band's debut, '…So It Begins', which sold 2,000 copies in Canada alone."

"Another Round" will be available Canada-wide via Fusion 3/EMI.

PROFUGUS MORTIS earlier in the year parted ways with violinist Émilie Livernois.
