As previously reported, FIREWIND singer Apollo Papathanasio is sitting out a part of the band's World Allegiance Tour due to a family emergency. His temporary replacement for the the last seven dates of the band's current tour with ANGRA and POWERQUEST is Henning Basse of METALIUM. "Henning is truly a world-class singer and a great frontman," the band previously stated. "We are excited to have him on board for the remaining dates! Please note that Apollo is NOT leaving the band, we have his blessings to continue as we all feel that canceling the rest of the tour would be the last option. Apollo will return for the U.K. headline shows and all upcoming tour dates."

FIREWIND's video for the track "Falling To Pieces" made its "Headbanger's Ball" debut on MTV2 earlier in the month. The clip was shot by acclaimed director Patric Ullaeus (LACUNA COIL, IN FLAMES, DIMMU BORGIR),and the track comes from the Greek metal powerhouse's highly acclaimed new album, "Allegiance", which is a must for any fan of DRAGONFORCE, ICED EARTH, HAMMERFALL or anyone who claims to be a heavy metal fanatic.

FIREWIND will make its highly anticipated U.S. debut at ProgPower USA, which takes place in Atlanta on Oct. 5-6, 2007. The group has also launched their own YouTube page (Fire TV),which features some exclusive material and their new "Falling To Pieces" video. Click here to check it out.
