FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Delivers Beat Down

July 12, 2007

A strong relationship has been forged between Beat Down TV and Los Angeles metalheads FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH! The powers that be at the channel are fervent fans of the band's music and the band members are big fight fans so they have decided to take their mutual admiration to the next level. Recently Beat Down TV worked out a deal to use FFDP tracks from "The Way Of The Fist" as the show's theme music and are bringing the ruckus to their record release event.

Beat Down TV is America's #1 fight show, covering both MMA (mixed martial arts) and boxing stars and events from across the globe. Spotlighting fighters, gyms, trainers, and ring girls as well as bands and musicians with an "edgy" sound that fits the whole fight theme, Beat Down TV is at the forefront of all things hard and heavy in all senses of the word. The show is the highest-rated Internet fight show in the country and is an overwhelming fan favorite on the cable outlets on which it's televised.

Broadcasting live from FFDP's CD-release party in Los Angeles on July 13, Beat Down TV will cater to the band's fans worldwide — allowing them to witness this grand event online. To commemorate the release of "The Way Of The Fist", Beat Down TV will also be giving away 2 B.C. Rich guitars autographed by the band: one of them to a fan at the show and another to a fan tuning in to the online live show.

MMA star and Beat Down TV regular Eddie Bravo will be on hand to host the event. Bravo is an American practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu who holds a black belt and is most famous for his win against Royler Gracie in the Abu Dhabi Submission Wrestling championships in 2003. He is also known for his unique style of no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, his mixed martial arts commentating on the Ultimate Fighting Championship and music composition. Bravo says, "FFDP is a unique blend of melody and brutality, guaranteed to redefine metal. I'm psyched about the party and can't wait to see the band live!"

In further support of the band, Beat Down TV will be checking in with FFDP on the road, as they are sending a camera with the band on this summer's Family Values Tour.
