FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH: Münster, Hamburg Shows Cancelled

November 21, 2009

Los Angeles metallers FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH have issued the following update:

"Tonight's [Saturday, November 21] show with SHADOWS FALL in Münster and tomorrow night's [Sunday, November 22] show in Hamburg have been canceled due to illness. We apologize to all our fans who will miss these two shows — it's very unfortunate timing. The rest of the tour dates are unaffected."

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH previously cancelled the November 19 concert in Gothenburg, Sweden because guitarist Zoltan Bathory was "violently ill . . . with nausea and vertigo."

The band performed Wednesday night (November 18) at John Dee in Oslo, Norway as a four-piece as a result of Zoltan's illness.

"Dying Breed", the opening track to FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's latest album, "War Is The Answer", has just been released as a digital single. It also features "Succubus", a bonus track previously unreleased and taken from the sessions for "The Way Of The Fist", the band’s debut album. A demo version of the song found its way online a few years ago and, due to popular demand, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH recently remixed and remastered it.

Video footage of FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's November 16, 2009 performance in Helsinki, Finland can be viewed below.
