FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, SEETHER, HALESTORM Confirmed For Next Year's 'ShipRocked' Cruise

May 6, 2015

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, SEETHER and HALESTORM are among the confirmed bands for next year's edition of the ShipRocked cruise, which will set sail for the seventh time on January 18-22, 2016 aboard the Norwegian Pearl from Miami to Costa May, Mexico. Also appearing the bill are HELLYEAH, HELMET, 10 YEARS, NONPOINT, AVATAR, ISLANDER, '68, CHILDREN 18:3 and THE DEAD DEADS, plus '80s covers band RUBIX KUBE, DJ Lippy Rage and more.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH guitarist Zoltan Bathory says: "ShipRocked isn't just another show. It's a music festival, and a vacation rolled into one unique experience. The whole ship is a big backstage party where every fan is invited. We are excited to return and headline the cruise in 2016. See you on deck…"

SEETHER's Shaun Morgan adds: "I am absolutely stoked as hell to finally be part of ShipRocked! We have wanted this for so many years and now we get to play music on a cruise ship? Fuck yeah! People better bring their drinking hats and get ready for a serious party."

HALESTORM's Lzzy Hale offers: "After years of us hearing stories from all of our peers about what a great time ShipRocked is … the time has come to experience it for ourselves! It's our first time, so please don't be gentle! See all you Freaks on the high seas!!!"

Produced by ASK4 Entertainment, the Ultimate Rock 'N' Roll Cruise will feature once-in-a-lifetime performances and musical collaborations during the roundtrip ocean voyage from Miami onboard Norwegian Pearl, with a day at port in Costa Maya, Mexico.

ShipRocked producer Alan Koenig of ASK4 Entertainment states: "For ShipRocked's 'Lucky No. 7,' we have a fantastic lineup that includes a mix of ShipRocked family favorites and first time performers. We're very excited to return to Costa Maya on Mexico's Yucatan coast for the first time since 2011, and are planning some new events and activities for guests to enjoy. We also have some special surprises in store!"

Costa Maya is a coastal paradise in the Yucatan that features stunning beaches with soft sand and blue skies. Excursions (for an additional cost) are offered to ancient Mayan ruins in this region, which is rich with archaeological sites. Other activities include snorkeling, scuba diving, ATV, jeep and dune buggy adventures, catamaran cruises, glass bottom boat rides, paddle boarding, and more.

Each ShipRocked is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that provides guests with the opportunity to vacation with their favorite bands, meet new friends, and reunite with old ones year after year. ShipRocked on-board and beach activities include photo meet and greets with band members, poolside games, artist question-and-answer sessions, trivia challenges, game shows, parties, contests and more.

During ShipRocked 2015, guests from around the U.S. and various other countries were treated to more than 50 performances from 25 artists on five stages aboard Norwegian Pearl — and on the spectacular beach stage of Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas — along with three days of meet-and-greets with ShipRocked artists, comedy and DJ sets, impromptu stage-side signings, and more. The 2015 ShipRocked Cancer Sucks! onboard charity auction raised nearly $80,000 towards funding innovative medical research and finding a cure for cancer.
