FLOTSAM AND JETSAM: Rare Video Footage With JAMES RIVERA Posted Online

July 7, 2007

Rare fan-filmed video footage of FLOTSAM AND JETSAM performing the song "No Place for Disgrace" in October 2001 in Ft. Lauderdale with legendary heavy metal frontman James Rivera (HELSTAR, VICIOUS RUMORS, SEVEN WITCHES) on vocals has been posted at YouTube.

Rivera sang for FLOTSAM AND JETSAM on the band's short-lived U.S. tour in the fall of 2001 following the departure of Eric A.K. earlier that year.

Rivera previously stated about the experience of singing for FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, "From the bottom of my heart, I really enjoyed this episode of my life playing with F&J. Through the ups and downs we had on this tour, I was glad to be a part of it. The last few shows especially in Phoenix made it well worth it. It was there that all ex-Flotmen showed up to give their support. Even [former METALLICA/FLOTSAM bassist] Jason Newsted was there. I got to get Eric A.K. up for a song as well. One hell of a singer I got to learn from and one hell of a down-to-earth and great guy!"
