FLYLEAF: 'Road To Memento Mori' Footage From Los Angeles Posted Online
October 7, 2009Belton, Texas-based quintet FLYLEAF has released a short video clip featuring footage from the band's October 1, 2009 "Road To Memento Mori" listening party in Los Angeles. The clip features the band speaking about its new album, as well as footage of the group's performance.
The Los Angeles listening party marked the third date of the listening tour that is stopping in nine cities across the country. The band is inviting fans to be the first to hear a selection of songs from "Memento Mori" and view brand new music videos before they air nationwide. By partnering with Eventful, fans were given the opportunity to demand that their city get routed into the "Road To Memento Mori" using Eventful's "Demand It!" service.
FLYLEAF recently teamed up with director Meiert Avis (who has helmed clips for a diverse list of artists, including AVRIL LAVIGNE, U2, JACK'S MANNEQUIN, AUDIOSLAVE and BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN) to film a video for the band's new single, the bracing rocker "Again". The track comes off "Memento Mori", the follow-up to FLYLEAF's hit 2005 self-titled debut, which is scheduled for release on November 10 via A&M/Octone.
