FLYLEAF: Video Trailers For Acoustic Songs Posted Online

October 27, 2007

Over the course of the last month and a half, FLYLEAF has posted a video trailer each week of acoustic versions of songs off their upcoming October 30 "special edition" release of "Flyleaf", the band's gold-certified debut album.

The response from fans to these videos has been absolutely phenomenal, catapulting the band to the 19th "Most Viewed Artist Channel" spot on YouTube. With each new addition the band has seen an exponential growth in viewers and hundreds of comments.

Due on October 30, the special edition two-disc version of FLYLEAF's debut album builds on the success of "All Around Me", now in its sixth month out, and breaking into the Top 5 at Modern Rock radio. It's the third single from the album, following "I'm So Sick" and "Fully Alive" — and the video clips for all three will be included on the bonus DVD. (The video for "All Around Me" was shot by visionary director Paul Fedor, whose credits include EVANESCENCE, MARILYN MANSON, and 30 SECONDS TO MARS. The videos for "I'm So Sick" and "Fully Alive" were directed by the Brothers Strause, who've worked with A PERFECT CIRCLE, LINKIN PARK, GODSMACK, STAIND, and others.)

In addition, special exclusive acoustic versions of "All Around Me", "I'm So Sick" and "Fully Alive" plus "Cassie" and "Red Sam", will be included on both the CD and DVD configurations. The new package will also contain a full- color FLYLEAF locker poster, and access to free "All Around Me" ringtone and wallpaper.

FLYLEAF harvested a multitude of new fans on the 31-city 2007 Family Values Tour, sharing the stage with KORN, EVANESCENCE, ATREYU, HELLYEAH, TRIVIUM, NEUROSONIC, DROID, and others. The tour followed up FLYLEAF's own two-month headlining Justice & Mercy Tour, from April through June, featuring KILL HANNAH, SICK PUPPIES, and sponsored by the Spyglass/Universal movie "Evan Almighty", which opened in June. June also marked the opening of 20th Century Fox's "Live Free Or Die Hard", featuring "I'm So Sick".

The band's fan club has more than 20,000 "Mob Members" signed up, and their web site on MySpace has more than 442,000 friends. The site currently logs over 12,000 plays per day and boasts over 22 million plays to date. "Mob Member" perks include limited edition merchandise, exclusive online content, and the chance to meet FLYLEAF in person at shows.
