FORBIDDEN Interviewed On 107.7 THE BONE's 'Metal Zone' (Video)
April 28, 2012On Friday, April 20, "Metal Zone" host Nikki Blakk of the San Francisco, California radio station 107.7 The Bone conducted an interview with Bay Area thrash metal veterans FORBIDDEN. You can now watch the chat below.
FORBIDDEN is currently writing material for the follow-up to 2010's "Omega Wave" for a 2013 release. Locicero recently described the new songs as "smoking-shit-hot-thrash-attack" and added that new drummer Sasha Horn (ex-NOVEMBER'S DOOM, AVA INFERI) "has been a lightning rod for our original energy since he's joined up. The only issue we have is the amount of time we get to spend together with Steve Smyth [guitar] and Sasha both living elsewhere. . . While we get together to practice, we also work on new songs."
"Omega Wave" was released in Europe on October 22, 2010 and in North America on October 26, 2010 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD landed at position No. 27 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
