FORCE OF EVIL: Sophomore Album Due In March

FORCE OF EVIL, the new Danish band featuring guitarist Michael Denner (ex-MERCYFUL FATE),guitarist Hank Shermann (MERCYFUL FATE),bassist Hal Patino (KING DIAMOND),drummer Bjarne Holm (MERCYFUL FATE),and vocalist Martin Steene (ex-IRONFIRE),have set a March 29 release date through Escapi for their sophomore album, "Black Empire". "Everything is going as planned and we are really amazed how this recording turned out," the band write on their web site. "[Producer] Neil Kernon did a kick-ass mix and took it to a different level than we have ever been before. The mastering took place at famous Polar Studios in Stockholm. The last tweaking at the studio before it was closed down. Mid-February we will start the shooting for the video 'Back To Hell'."

"Black Empire" was recorded at Jailhouse studio in Horsens, Denmark with producer Tommy Hansen (HELLOWEEN, PRETTY MAIDS) and is being described by the band as "raw" and "more brutal" than the group's debut.
