Former 3 INCHES OF BLOOD Bassist Dies
September 28, 2009Former 3 INCHES OF BLOOD bassist Brian Redman died Saturday night in a motor vehicle accident near his home in Tacoma, Washington.
According to Weekly Volcano's "Spew" blog, Redman recently returned to Tacoma after living in Southern California for a short stint.
Before he left for California, he tended bar at Doyle's Public House in Tacoma and fronted the rock band the DIRTY KNOCKERS.
"We have lost a friend, family member, lover, musician and all-around good person," posted Doyle's Public House co-owner Russ Heaton on his bar's web site.
Brian Redman was in 3 INCHES OF BLOOD between 2004 and 2006 and appeared on the band's 2004 album, "Advance and Vanquish" (Roadrunner).
