Former ATHEIST Drummer Schedules Live Debut With GNOSTIC

December 29, 2005

GNOSTIC, the Atlanta, Georgia-based band featuring former ATHEIST drummer Steve Flynn, will be making their live debut on Friday, January 6 at The Darkside (attached to the Sidelines sports bar) in Marietta, GA.

In other news, Flynn will be appearing live on WREKage 91.1 FM in Atlanta at midnight this Friday night, December 30. Steve will be discussing the possibility of reunion shows with ATHEIST, the future of GNOSTIC and about his triumphant return to metal. The show, which airs Friday nights between midnight and 6:00 a.m., can be heard online at www.wrekage.org.

As previously reported, GNOSTIC recently re-released their demo from earlier this summer with all-new vocals as well as a brand new mix. Four of the songs — "Corrosive", "Violently Calm", "Mindlock" and "Wall of Lies" — can be downloaded at www.myspace.com/gnosticmusic.

GNOSTIC will be seeking a deal in 2006 with the help of Flynn's former bandmate Kelly Shaefer and his Starrfactory Records indie label (which also licensed the ATHEIST back catalog to Relapse Records). GNOSTIC hope to release their debut album in 2006. You can also visit the band at their official web site, www.gnosticmusic.com.
