Former ATOMKRAFT Guitarist Returns To Action After Almost 20 Years

Former ATOMKRAFT guitarist Rob Matthew has sent the following message to BLABBERMOUTH.NET:

"I just would like to let everybody know that I've returned to metal after almost 20 years. It's been a long time. The reason for the disappearance has been due to total disillusionment with the music industry... However, I know now that I, like many others, just had a bad deal. I would like to put the record straight, if you would allow me, because it seems my contribution to ATOMKRAFT is being totally underrated. in fact, half of the songs written were my own. Also, I was happy to hear that ATOMKRAFT's 'Protector' was acknowledged as the fastest song to emerge from Britain during the '80s, a song which I wrote.

"I personally feel that I need to let it be known of my past contribution to metal and no more be undermined by my 'old friends'...

"My new band is AGANKAST and we are, of course, old-school. I'm not going anywhere for a while yet..."

In addition to Matthew, AGANKAST's current lineup includes Allan Scott (vocals, bass guitar),Jimmy Manningham (guitar) and Ava Robertson (drums).
