Former BLACK SABBATH Drummer To Appear On Canadian Radio

December 2, 2003

Former BLACK SABBATH drummer Bill Ward will appear on the segment "Artist-to-Artist" on the radio program "Adventures in Plasticland" with host Spaceman Stan on Saturday, December 6 at 11:59 p.m. (EST) on CKWR FM 98.5 in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. You can listen online at www.ckwr.com.

As previously reported, Ward recently released a limited-edition CD-single, with proceeds being donated to the charity of each purchaser's choice from one of five organizations. The single features the track "Straws", which Ward wrote and recorded to express his concerns regarding the war with Iraq and the escalation of terrorism. Each copy of the CD, which is available exclusively on Bill's web site, www.billward.com, is numbered and autographed by Ward.

A total of 2,200 copies of the limited-edition "Straws" CD-singles were produced in all, with Ward servicing 1,200 copies to governmental heads of state throughout the world, humanitarian organizations, peace support groups, media outlets and fellow musicians. Among those who have received the special package are President George W. Bush, British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and members of the United States Congress.
