Former BRAND NEW SIN Guitarist Releases LEDYARD Demo Recordings

May 23, 2007

LEDYARD, the Syracuse, New York-based band led by former BRAND NEW SIN guitarist Slider, has posted three new demo tracks — "Sky Burns Red", "Desperate Man" and "Suicide Sister" — on its MySpace page.

According to the band's official bio, "the members of LEDYARD are five intensely focused individuals with one goal, to rock without compromise. Drawing from such influential bands as BLACK SABBATH, PANTERA, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY and QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, LEDYARD brings a new brand of rock to the table with their eclectic mix of southern rock, blues and metal, resulting in a truly unique blend of music. Slider's precision guitar work is responsible for the band's savage rhythms, while lead guitarist Chris Pallatto brings his unique style to fill out LEDYARD's devastating guitar sound. 'If you're not playing from the heart, then you're not playing,' proclaims lead guitarist Chris Pallatto. Johnny Palmer's hard-hitting drums and Steve Russell's pulse-pounding bass lay the foundation for lead singer James Lyons' thunderous vocal style, which shatter the boundaries established by traditional hard rock front men."
