Former CANNIBAL CORPSE Guitarist Auctioning Guitars, Memorabilia To Help Friend

March 21, 2005

Former CANNIBAL CORPSE and current ADRIFT guitarist Jack Owen has sent the following message to BLABBERMOUTH.NET:

"I'm auctioning off two guitars, two CANNIBAL CORPSE jackets, and some CANNIBAL CORPSE memorabilia to help Ralph Santolla [SEBASTIAN BACH, ex-ICED EARTH, DEATH], who is ill with a degenerative condition (see previous BLABBERMOUTH.NETnews story). He, like many musicians, has no health insurance.

"Please help these items to bid as high as possible and help Ralph, whom I've known for many years as a great guitarist, and great human being.

"This will probably be phase one of a drive to raise funds for Ralph. I've been contacted by other bands who want to donate items, with the proceeds to go to him.

"I'm challenging bands, record labels, and equipment companies to help Ralph out, since a benefit concert has not materialized, and he needs upwards of $50,000 for medical attention.

"Here are links for the two guitars: Guitar#1, Guitar#2. You can access the other items from either ad. You can also contact me through eBay if you would like to donate memorabilia, or money."

"Many eBayers have asked if it is actually me selling the items. Yes, I am doing this on my own, and I feel that I'm finally in a position to help a friend, and I'm going to do it..."
