Former CARCASS Frontman Records Guest Vocals On New NAPALM DEATH CD

October 11, 2004

Former CARCASS frontman Jeff Walker visited Foel Studios in mid-Wales over the weekend to lay down guest vocals on the new NAPALM DEATH album. Jeff "put some vocals down to a song called 'Pledge Yourself to You', which turned out great," NAPALM bassist Shane Embury writes on the group's web site. "You can hear Jeff's distinctive style alongside Barney's [Greenway, NAPALM DEATH vocalist] and we think it works well."

The CD, tentatively titled "The Code Is Red...Long Live The Code", is expected to surface in early 2005 via Century Media Records. Other songtitles set to appear on the album include "Instruments Of Persuasion", "Morale", "Striding Purposefully Backwards", "Climate Controllers", "Sold Short", and the projected title track.

NAPALM DEATH have just released their Century Media Records debut, "Leaders Not Followers: Part 2". U.S. fans can expect to see the band late October through November with CANNIBAL CORPSE, KATAKLYSM and GOATWHORE. For tour dates, visit the Century Media web site at this location.
