Midnight recently released three new songs on his MySpace page. The tracks include a duet with none other than SAVATAGE/TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA mastermind Jon Oliva on the CRIMSON GLORY classic "Painted Skies", as well as a new-for-2008 version of the much-revered song "Lost Reflections", originally found on CG's 1986 debut, self-titled album. Also avalable is another new epic song, titled "The Deep".
Sessions for the new tracks were engineered by MONSTROSITY founder/drummer Lee Harrison at his private studio. Harrison also played guitar on "Lost Reflections '08". Also onboard for the sessions were guitarist Matt LaPorte (JON OLIVA'S PAIN, ex-CIRCLE II CIRCLE). LaPorte played guitar, mandolin and fretless bass on two of the three tracks, and arranged "Painted Skies" for piano and string quartet.
