Former DARKANE Singer Joins INVOCATOR Side Project

SCAVENGER, the band formed by INVOCATOR guitarist Flemming C. Lund, have finished the instrumental recordings for their 2004 promotional CD at Hansen Studios with producer Jacob Hansen. The end result is three tracks of "intense, melodic and well-played death/thrash tunes," according to a press release. Joining the band on vocals will be ex-DARKANE vocalist Lawrence Mackrory (currently in SEETHINGS and ENEMY IS US). The vocals for the demo will be recorded soon and soundclips will be made available via the band's web site.

In other INVOCATOR-related news, the band's drummer, Jakob Gundel, has joined forces with Anders Høeg and Mikkel Sandager from MERCENARY in a brand-new, as-yet-unnamed melodic thrash metal project. The group have recorded a five-song demo. No further information is currently available.
