Former DDHEIMSGARD Vocalist Launches GANGRENATOR

March 17, 2008

Vocalist Kvohst, who recently left Norway's DDHEIMSGARD (DHG) and CODE, has launched a brand new band called GANGRENATOR. The group, which also features Amoque Von Berlevaag from ENDWARFMENT and LASERGUYS, has released its first track, "Plague Dolls", via the GANGRENATORMySpace page.

Commented Kvohst: "It's old death metal/grind the way it's meant to be."

He continued, "We have made a few test demos with programmed demonstration drums which were really only meant for ourselves, but we may release them on tape cassette. We are working on our debut vinyl right now with a real live drummer. Oh, and there won't be a CD release. CD is a dead format. Only vinyl and cassette tape is real!

"So far our songs are called 'Plague Dolls', 'When Children Attack Lions', 'Taste The Skull', 'Cyclops Tribes Of Inner Earth' and 'Subhuman Sacrifice'. Right now Mr. Reptile Robot, Justin Bartlett from www.wearetherobots.com, is drawing a logo and some artwork in the back of his schoolbook for our new MySpace page."
