Former DEATH Guitarist Brings Out The Funk With JUNKIE RUSH

Former DEATH guitarist Bobby Koelble, whose virtuoso playing can be heard on the bands 1995 Roadrunner release "Symbolic", is now the vocalist/guitarist/songwriter for the Orlando-based JUNKIE RUSH. The band combine modern rock with elements of funk, reggae, Latin and world music, punctuated by world-class musicianship. Consisting of Koelble, Aaron O'Riley (bass),Abdias Garcia (drums) and Ito Colon (percussion),JUNKIE RUSH released their independent sophomore effort, "Junkie Rush II", in March 2003, which features such guest artists as Grammy-nominated saxophonist Sam Rivers and former CELINE DION backup vocalist Sisaundra Lewis. The band are currently on tour in the Southeast and will be performing in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands in July. They are currently seeking a new label and management.
