Former DIAMOND REXX Drummer Launches New Project

Former DIAMOND REXX drummer Billy Nychay has emerged with a new project based out of San Diego, Ca. Dubbed BENT, the new band has been described as "a cross between KORN and STAIND with the commercial hooks," according to a press release. BENT have begun pre-production in San Diego and are currently laying down tracks in their studio for a 2005 release through an as-yet-undetermined label. Former RATT founder/singer Stephen Pearcy has expressed interest in the band and has been tapped as co-producer. The group, who made their live debut in San Diego this past summer, are rounded out by guitarist Mark Evans, bassist Johnny McKinney, and vocalist Frank Valente.
