Former EXHORDER Singer's PITTS VS. PREPS Project Announces Live Dates

November 22, 2006

PITTS VS. PREPS — the Louisiana-based band featuring former EXHORDER/FLOODGATE and current ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY frontman Kyle Thomas — will team up with PARABELLUM for the following dates:

Nov. 23 - Mobile, AL @ The Cellblock
Nov. 24 - Montgomery, AL @ Head on the Door
Nov. 25 - Pensacola, FL @ The Handlebar

Thomas had previously said about PITTS VS. PREPS' musical direction, "It is centered around the truest sound of heavy metal in the realm of old JUDAS PRIEST and IRON MAIDEN. Check it out if you can, it's always a good party when we hit the stage."

ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY is currently working on material for the follow-up to 2004's "Fulton Hill", tentatively due in early 2007 via Relapse Records.

FLOODGATE will reunite to perform at Nola Underground's first annual Raise The Dead festival, set to take place Saturday, January 13, 2007 at One Eyed Jack's (615 Toulouse Street) in New Orleans. Proceeds from the gig will go to the New Orleans Musicians Hurricane Relief Fund, which is an organization that acts as an outreach program to New Orleans musicians affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Kyle was one of 57 artists contributing to Roadrunner Records' 2005 album to mark the label's 25th anniversary. The CD, entitled "The All-Star Sessions", featured Thomas singing on a track called "Constitution Down", written by SLIPKNOT drummer Joey Jordison.
