Former FLESHOLD Guitarist Opens Recording Studio

May 25, 2008

Former FLESHOLD guitarist Don Byczynski (a.k.a. dB) has opened to the public his personal recording studio dubbed BOTA Studio. Based outside the city of Chicago, the studio was designed for extreme metal bands and younger (18-25) up-and-coming metal bands.

Byczynski has been a keeping busy as a studio producer and engineer after leaving FLESHOLD back in 1995 following a tour with BLACKBONE (featuring SALIVA members) supporting the Massacre Records release "Pathetic". "I wanted to open a studio that younger new bands just starting out can take the time to craft their music and style without having the pressure of a high-cost cookie-cutter studio," says Byczynski.

Currently recording at BOTA is local metal band THYATEIRA.

BOTA Studio can be found online at www.botastudio.com.
