Former FOZZY/STUCK MOJO Drummer Explains His Departure

Former FOZZY/STUCK MOJO drummer Frank "Bud" Fontsere has sent the following statement to BLABBERMOUTH.NET:

"As has been stated on www.thedukerocks.com, it is true that Rich Ward and I have decided to end our working relationship. I would like to say for the record that it is also true that the split was mutual and completely amicable. Although this came about suddenly and was a shock to many people considering how long Rich and I have worked together, there are absolutely no hard feelings on my part and I have nothing but best wishes for success for my friends and former bandmates. I felt it was time to move on and experience playing with other musicians and to grow as a drummer. Though I do have some projects lined up, I am available for studio work and touring. My site is in the process of a major overhaul and will relaunch at the end of October '05 so check back often for updates! Big thanks to all the dedicated MOJO and FOZZY fans for all your support over the years and I'll see ya on the road again real soon."

As previously reported, FOZZY/STUCK MOJO have acquired veteran Atlanta drummer Eric Sanders (Colonel Bruce Hampton's FIJI MARINERS, BARRY RICHMOND) as the replacement for Fontsere.
