Former GARDEN OF DECAY singer Quentin Demelenne and ATROXENTIS bass player Ludovic Sirtaine have joined forces in a new band called BLÖTT.

BLÖTT plays what the band members themselves called "progressive metalcore." Influences range from TOOL to MESHUGGAH and everything in between.

The five-piece crew form Brussels, Belgium will release its first EP, tentatively titled "The Death of Jim's Postmodernism", next month. The CD will contain four tracks with a running time of more than 20 minutes.

"The Death of Jim's Postmodernism" track listing:

01. We Slowly Die
02. A Loop for Life (The Death of Jim's Postmodernism Part 1)
03. Hope Notes
04. Death Wish

Rough-mix samples of the tracks "We Slowly Die" and "Hope Notes" are available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.

BLÖTT will make its live debut on February 27 at the Botanique in Brussels.
