Former GLENN HUGHES Bass Player Joins LION'S SHARE

Former GLENN HUGHES/CRAWLEY bassist Sampo Axelsson has officially joined Swedish melodic heavy metal masters LION'S SHARE. Sampo co-wrote several songs with Hughes for his "Addiction" and "The Way It Is" CDs, besides being a touring member with Hughes during the late '90s. Axelsson and LION'S SHARE mainman Lars Chriss are currently writing material with an as-yet-undisclosed singer (believed to be Patrik Johansson from ASTRAL DOORS and Richard Andersson's SPACE ODYSSEY) for a fifth album to be released some time during 2006. The songs written so far are being described as "heavier and more straight-ahead with tons of energy and attitude." More information on Sampo will soon be available at the official LIONS SHARE homepage, www.lionsshare.org.
