Former GROTESQUE Drummer Launches A MORBID MIND

December 12, 2013

Drummer Tomas "Offensor" Eriksson of the legendary death metal act GROTESQUE is back with a new band called A MORBID MIND. Joining him in the new group are guitarist Andy Emilsson (ex-DOOMDOGS) and vocalist Erik Johansson (BLACK BARREL SMOKE).

The title track from A MORBID MIND's forthcoming EP can be streamed using the ReverbNation widget below. The CD will be released via the band's own record label, Tilt City Records.

A MORBID MIND's biography: "When Andy and Tomas met last year in DOOMDOGS, they found that they both have a genuine passion for old-school death metal. Tomas being the drummer for GROTESQUE and Andy being a huge huge fan of the Gothenburg scene of the '90s, it was a match made in hell.

"Since they both had some time now, they decided to put their heads together and try to make some music. And, basically, after just one jam in the rehearsal it's a no-brainer that this music is too good to be unreleased."
