Former HALFORD Guitarist Offers PAINMUSEUM Update

March 1, 2004

Former HALFORD/current PAINMUSEUM guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak has issued the following update on his recent and upcoming activities:

"Greetings everyone .... some news from the PAINMUSEUM enemy lines.

"Wanted to confirm that PAINMUSEUM will be performing Saturday, March 13th at the NJ March Metal Meltdown VI. The official site for this event www.metalfest.com had the band previously listed for Friday, March 12. That information was incorrect. PAINMUSEUM is confirmed for Saturday, March 13th. The Metal Fest site is finally currently up-dated with latest information.

"You will also have a chance to see our good friend Joe Comeau (x-ANNIHILATOR/x-OVERKILL) step in with a lending hand on bass. Not only Joe is a killer human being, he's also one of the best musicians we have ever met. Further, we have also met with our booking agency and we are all on the same page and committed to putting PAINMUSEUM on the road in the very, very near future. We are looking into available regional tour packages that at this time that will work with our record release date. News on above two subjects extremely shortly.

"Thursday, March 11 - The band will also be completing a brand new photo session with photographer Frank White. Frank shot many bands we respect such as MORBID ANGEL, CHILDREN OF BODOM and CRADLE OF FILTH to name a few. We believe he understands where we are coming from. You will all see the results soon.

"James Murphy has completed the mastering process for our debut album 'Metal For Life - Battle Hymns For The Apocalypse' and he's done an incredible job. The album includes a ridiculous over-the-top instrumental track 'I Am Your Keeper'. If you ever wondered how Bobby Jarzombek, Steve DiGiorgio and myself sound going berserk, you will have to wonder no more. Having Bobby and Steve's talents on this track (and I guess entire album) was an honor that inspired me to play the most insane guitar leads to date — NIRVANA can lick my balls.

"Friday, March 12 - PAINMUSEUM will appear at WDHA's 105.5 FM 'Metal Mania' show with Matt Murray. Expect an in-depth band interview and for those of you who are wondering how our singer, Tim Clayborne sounds — here is your chance to find out!! We will be exclusively debuting a track or two from PAINMUSEUM album on this popular East Coast show. 'Metal Mania' airs from 11PM to 12 AM.

"And finally, in the up-coming month or so, MP3's from the PAINMUSEUM album will be available at the official PAINMUSEUM site.

"In other news my 'Flurry Of Black Notes' Guitar Clinic Tour has been doing really well. More people are turning up than we first expected. New date has been announced at:

Tuesday, March 9, 2004 (6:30 PM)
GUITAR CENTER - Atlantic City
560 Hamelton Commons
Mays Landing, NJ 08330
(609) 383-6979

"Following this clinic tour, I will embark on another Metal Guitar clinic run that will co-exist or work around the PAINMUSEUM live schedule.

"And as always ..... 'Kill Trend Hopping Assholes'."
