Former HANOI ROCKS Guitarist Producing EMBER'S FLAME Debut

September 16, 2010

Former HANOI ROCKS guitarist Andy McCoy is producing the debut album from EMBER'S FLAME, a Finnish band playing "modern and melodic classic rock mixed up in year 2010 blender," according to a press release. Pre-production for the CD begun in April and recordings kicked off in the beginning of August at 5K Studios in Helsinki. A late 2010 release is expected.

"Already at the early stages of the project we decided to get an external producer," says EMBER'S FLAME frontman Sami Toivonen. "We browsed through different alternatives and somehow came up with Andy's name. After discussions with Andy, it was easy for us to make the decision."

EMBER'S FLAME has been working very hard to prepare for the upcoming recordings. "We are pushing it to the limits," the group states. "It's going to be our debut longplay and there's no room for compromises."

EMBER'S FLAME previously released a single, "She Said", in 2009.

EMBER'S FLAME is:

Sami Toivonen - Vocals
Pete Tarkanmäki - Bass
Jouni Sipilä - Drums
Teme Virtanen - Guitars
