October 30, 2007

According to a posting on the IRON MAIDEN fan site MaidenFans.com, the 16th edition of the Italian MAIDEN fanzine Eddie's is due out soon, featuring cover artwork by Tommy Pons (soon to be the star of an online issue fully dedicated to him). Also announced is a second Eddie's national convention which will take place in Trezzo, Italy near Milan, on December 7, and Prato, near Florence, on December 8. Both nights will see former MAIDEN guitarist Dennis Stratton playing IRON MAIDEN numbers plus selected memorable rock songs, with the Italian MAIDEN tribute band THE CLAIRVOYANTS and Mike DeJager (AL ATKINS, THE DENIAL). There will also be contests, stands, instruments, meet-and-greets and other events.
