Former KITTIE Guitarist Delays Release Of Solo Debut

March 11, 2003

AMPHIBIOUS ASSAULT, the solo project of former KITTIE guitarist Fallon Bowman, have delayed the release of their debut album, "District 6", to sometime in the spring. "With the cover art being late and with promotion not being where it should be right now, the release date will be pushed back," Fallon wrote on the group's official web site. "I'm not quite sure when it will be. I'll have a better idea by the end of this week."

AMPHIBIOUS ASSAULT's sound is being described as a dancey, industrial "fusion [of] MINISTRY's 'The Land of Rape and Honey''s weirdness and KMFDM's 'Adios'' ferocity,' with a touch of VNV NATION's 'Empires'' more melodic vibe."

"District 6" features a guest appearance by former KITTIE bassist Talena Atfield.
