March 21, 2007

Former KORN guitarist Brian "Head" Welch will release his first book this year.

Since leaving KORN in February 2005, Welch has been working on his solo debut album, "It's Time to See Religion Die", at Fortitude Studios in Phoenix, Arizona. Welch has also been working on a film, "Washed by Blood", which follows the unraveling of the man, as well as a combination of documentary style-footage, showing life as a recording artist with interviews with former bandmembers and current friends and associates.

Welch's solo album, book and film will all be released in 2007 and will coincide with his first solo tour, Fortitude management told the KoRn Underground web site.
