Former LED ZEPPELIN Members Refuse To Rule Out Reunion
May 7, 2003Despite previous reports to the contrary, former LED ZEPPELIN members John Paul Jones (bass/keyboards) and Jimmy Page (guitar) have refused to rule out persistent rumors that they would perform again as LED ZEPPELIN.
"You can never say never about anything," Paul Jones told BBC News in an interview published Tuesday (May 6). "Maybe we could get together. If everybody felt it was a good idea on the same day...you never know."
Page added: "If we could get in a room and play the instruments and feel passionate about it, that would be all right wouldn't it? I'm not counting anything out at all."
LED ZEPPELIN's previously announced live three-CD set, "How The West Was Won", and the two-disc DVD, "Led Zeppelin DVD", are due on May 27 through Atlantic Records. "Led Zeppelin DVD" and "How The West Was Won" mark the first-ever official release of these rare and legendary performances, which span the group's entire career. Much-rumored and eagerly anticipated, the DVD and CD sets each contain entirely different material, so there is no overlap between the two releases. As a gesture to the band's millions of fans, both sets are specially priced — the 2-DVD set at 29.98 list, and the 3-CD set at 26.98 list. "Led Zeppelin DVD" will be marketed by Atlantic Records in collaboration with Warner Strategic Marketing.
