Former LIEGE LORD Guitarist To Play Canadian Shows With KATRINA CHESTER BAND

Paul Nelson (ex-LIEGE LORD) will be appearing as a special guest guitarist replacing Ian Hatton (ROBERT PLANT'S HONEYDRIPPERS) with the KATRINA CHESTER BAND for three Canadian festival dates later this month. Also scheduled to appear are JOHN MAYALL AND THE BLUESBREAKERS, DR. JOHN, COMMANDER CODY, EDGAR WINTER and JEFF HEALEY. The dates are as follows:

Jul. 09 - Thunder Bay Festival - Thunder Bay, Canada
Jul. 16 – The Blues Fest – London, Ontario, Canada
Jul 17 – The Blues fest - Windsor, Canada

As previously reported, Nelson appears as special guest guitarist on the latest HALIFAX CD, entitled "The Inevitability of a Strange World", on the song "Anthem for Tonight". The album is due out soon worldwide through Drive Thru Records.

Nelson's most recent distinction is writing for and performing on blues/rock legend JOHNNY WINTER's latest Grammy-nominated album, entitled "I'm a Bluesman" (Virgin/EMI),for which he penned the title track. Paul's solo album, entitled "Look", can be found in stores worldwide.
