Former MACHINE HEAD Drummer CHRIS KONTOS Officially Joins SPIRALARMS

Former FORBIDDEN/MANMADEGOD and current SPIRALARMS guitarist Craig Locicero has issued the following update:

"We've been writing like mad scientists! The list of songs we have is ridiculous. It seems like every time we step into the room something new and exciting happens. I honestly have to say the chemistry is perfect now. Everything is clicking. The fact we've been playing live a lot lately has something to do with it.

"Now let's talk about Mr. Kretz [Eric Kretz, former STONE TEMPLE PILOTS/SPIRALARMS drummer]. We would like to wish him the best this weekend. He's getting married to an awesome girl on Saturday. The guy is so damned busy it's stupid. His life is full with the studio and everything else going on, it's crazy. When he started jamming with us he had a fair amount of time that he just doesn't have anymore. He was originally just going to produce SPIRALARMS. It obviously turned into much more.

"That being said, it's safe to say that he's back to being our producer again. The distance between the Bay Area and L.A., and lack of time has forced the issue. We love playing music with the guy and he'll always be a part of anything we do. Nobody's hurt here. Mark these words, he will be a GREAT producer!

"So then, it's official. Chris Kontos [ex-MACHINE HEAD, TESTAMENT] is the drummer for SPIRALARMS! Anyone who's seen us live recently was just waiting for the other shoe to drop. He's an incredible drummer and a great asset for the SPIRAL. Definitely a 'idea guy!' who deserves a break. Chris laid down some awesome drums to three of the songs that we've posted up on, myspace.com/spiralarms. Another thing is that he comes from the similar background as the rest of us. We're all at the same level. Hungry! I mean come on, Eric has 30 million records under his belt. Jeez! Another chapter then."
