Former MEGADETH Guitarist To Pay Orchestral Tribute To JASON BECKER

Former MEGADETH guitarist Marty Friedman will put on two live performances with an orchestra of ex-DAVE LEE ROTH axeman Jason Becker's work in San Francisco, California sometime next year. No further information is available at this time.

Becker, who is suffering from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease) (a disease that affects the central nervous system and for which there is no known cure),played with Friedman in the mid-'80s classically-inspired "speed metal" outfit CACOPHONY, which issued two critically-acclaimed albums, "Go Off!" (1986) and "Speed Metal Symphony" (1987),before going separate ways.
