Former MENDEED Guitarist Joins ANTERIOR
September 26, 2007Former MENDEED guitarist Steven Nixon has joined the Welsh metal band ANTERIOR.
ANTERIOR's debut album, "This Age of Silence", was released earlier in the year via Metal Blade Records.
According to a press release, ANTERIOR formed in 2003 when a group of 17-year-olds "set out to create an epic sound combining thunderous riffs, technically exceptional guitar work, relentless drive, and an abundance of melody that they still wield today. And the end result? ANTERIOR forged a unique style that captures an ever-growing army of fans! In the band's short yet illustrious career (the group's members are now between the ages of 20 and 21) ANTERIOR have risen above all, to share stages with household names: DRAGONFORCE, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, HIMSA, and 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, to name but a few. Together with these high profile shows and extensive local radio play, ANTERIOR have proven that they push the boundaries of modern musicianship to a new level, competing with bands much older and more established than their selves."
