Former ONWARD Guitarist Planning Live Dates

November 4, 2006

Former ONWARD guitarist Toby Knapp, who recently announced plans to release a collection of remixed/mastered demo tapes for what would have been ONWARD's last album, "The Neverending Sun", has issued the following update:

"After a break, I have begun rehearsing once again with 17 year-old drum prodigy Jeramy Matheson and have enlisted SEEKING OBSCURE's Rob Luckie to play bass. With these new albums coming out [ONWARD's upcoming CD and debut album from Knapp's black metal project WAXEN], I figured I better play a few shows! We're going to shoot for some out-of-area shows, but we will probably do something here in our hometown [Sheridan, Wyoming] in a few months. Rehearsals have been very fucking killer and we've been raising the intensity and complexity of the music."

The ONWARD and WAXEN CDs are both being issued through Metalbolic Records. The WAXEN album, entitled "Fumaroth", consists of recordings that were completed for WAXEN's 2004 demo and includes the track "Splendid Impure Light", which can currently be sampled on Metalbolic's MySpace.com page.

Knapp last year issued an instrumental album, entitled "Polarizing Lines". He also recently contributed lead guitar work to the split CD featuring the one-man death metal band SEEKING OBSCURE and UNBURIED.
