Former OVERLORDE Singer Resurfaces In JUDAS PRIEST Tribute Band

June 13, 2007

Former OVERLORDE singer Bobby Lucas has resurfaced in a JUDAS PRIEST tribute band called STEEL MESSIAH (MySpace page). Lucas is also collaborating with guitarist Dave Wooley on an original metal band and will be looking for label support once the group's demo is completed.

OVERLORDE has recruited Chris Colfax to sing for the band during its appearance at the Brooklyn Metalfest II on Saturday, June 23 at the Hook in Brooklyn, New York.

OVERLORDE, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2005, is said to be one of the originators of the U.S. power metal style. The band's current CD, titled "Return of the Snow Giant", is out now on Sonic Age Records.
