Former SKID ROW Drummer PHIL VARONE To Appear On TLC's 'Miami Ink'
August 9, 2005Former SKID ROW/SAIGON KICK drummer Phil Varone, whose life on the road is documented in a new film called "Waking Up Dead", is going to be featured on TLC's new hit show "Miami Ink" on August 16 at 10:00 p.m. In the episode, titled "The Apprentice", Phil will have the names of his kids tattooed by one of the show's main artists.

In other news, Phil is scheduled to appear at the 10th South Florida Tattoo Expo, held at the Coral Springs Marriott Resort on August 13 between 8:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. Following his appearance, he will take the stage with CREASE for a jam.
"Waking Up Dead", which takes the viewer through four turbulent years in the life of Phil Varone, will be making its theatrical debut in New York City on August 26. The film will be played at Tribeca Cinemas in lower Manhattan, located at 54 Varick Street (at Laight Street),with multiple showings throughout the day.
