January 14, 2010

"Stone & Double T" show (hosted by Jim Stone and Terry Turen) on Rockford, Illinois' WXRX 104.9 FM radio station recently conducted an interview with former STEREOMUD and current DANGEROUS NEW MACHINE vocalist Erik Rogers. The chat is now available for streaming using the ReverbNation TuneWidget below (click on "Songs" tab and then click on "FORMER STEREOMUD SINGER DISCUSSES MAJOR LABELS").

Rogers' new band, DANGEROUS NEW MACHINE, is preparing to head into the studio sometime this month to start tracking the group's first full-length effort with producer Rusty T. Cobb. A spring/summer release through an as-yet-undetermined record label is expected.

DANGEROUS NEW MACHINE is:

Erik Rogers - Vocals
Billy Grey (ex-FOZZY, SICK SPEED) - Lead Guitar
Randy Reider - Bass
Rodney Beaubouef (ex-STUCK MOJO) - Drums

DANGEROUS NEW MACHINE will perform at the rescheduled benefit concert for missing Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington on Saturday, January 16 at the Hat Factory in Richmond, Virginia. AT WAR and WHIPLASH will also take part in the event, which will be held almost exactly three months after Morgan Harrington was last seen at a METALLICA concert in Charlottesville. All proceeds will go to the Find Morgan Fund, which supports the Harrington family's ongoing search efforts.
