Former STUCK MOJO Guitarist RICH WARD: Solo Acoustic Demos Posted Online

November 11, 2003

CAFU guitarist Rich Ward (ex-STUCK MOJO, SICK SPEED) has posted two rough "home demos" from his new acoustic project. Check them out:

01. A Time And A Full Place (mp3)
02. I Give To You (sample) (mp3)

Ward is scheduled to enter the studio on November 30 to record three songs with producer Rick Beato. In addition, he will be performing his first-ever solo acoustic show on December 19 at The Money in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Once Rich has completed the sessions for his acoustic project, he will dive into writing and preparing for the new FOZZY album, which is set to be recorded in early February. The as-yet-untitled effort, which will be "100% chock-full of originals," will feature a "ridiculously heavy” direction in the vein of STUCK MOJO's final offering, "Declaration of a Headhunter".

FOZZY's next live appearances will take place on December 11-12 at Tribeca in New York City.

Because of Ward's upcoming commitments, CAFU's live shows are being put on the backburner temporarily. As a result, CAFU guitarist Billy Grey has decided to join the new Atlanta band SOUNDEVICE, which features in its ranks ex-STEREOMUD singer Erik Rogers. It is not presently clear if Grey will rejoin CAFU once the band becomes active again.
