Former TIGERTAILZ Drummer Seeking New Band Following Split With GYPSY PISTOLEROS

June 25, 2008

Former TIGERTAILZ drummer Ace Finchum has left cult UK flamenco rockers the GYPSY PISTOLEROS. In a posting on his MySpace page, he explained, "I guess the RATT shows were the test for all of us as a band. It's not a nasty split, just personal differences. I wish them all the best, especially Iggz [lead guitarist Iggie Pistolero] as we grew tight as very good friends and I will miss him for sure." He added, "Once again I am on the lookout for a new band, so if anyone hears of anything please don't hesitate to get in contact with me. Drumming is my life and I take it very seriously. I'm not a band whore; it probably looks that way, but it's far far from true."

GYPSY PISTOLEROS have already announced a replacement for Finchum in the shape of Scott Garrett and have also expanded to a five-piece with the addition of rhythm guitarist Tom Gittins.

The band's new lineup will make its live debut on July 3 at the first show of GYPSY PISTOLEROS' U.S. tour in Dallas, Texas. The group will also appear at the Rocklahoma festival on July 11 in Pryor, Oklahoma.
