Former WARRANT Frontman To Embark On Solo Tour In May

April 12, 2006

Former WARRANT frontman Jani Lane is preparing to hit the road with "a new version of JANI LANE'S WARRANT." Lane is currently holding auditions for his backing band. Confirmed dates so far are as follows:

May 10 - Long Island, NY - Mulchaey's
May 12 - Watertown, NY - Cross Roads Music Theatre
May 13 - Rochester, NY - Steel Music Hall
May 16 - Hartford, CT - Webster Theatre
May 17 - Allentown, PA - Crockadille Rock
May 18 - Bedford, NH - Mark's Showplace
May 19 - Poughkeepsie, NY - The Chance

Additional North American dates, as well as shows in Europe and Japan, are in the works.

In other news, Lane's "Back Down to One" solo album, which was originally released in June 2003 via Z Records, has just been reissued with three extra tracks. Jani is also looking for a suitable label to release his "Jabberwocky" project, which was bootlegged from the studio before it was finished and mixed and was eventually sold for upwards of $100 on eBay a few years ago.

Lane is currently working on material for a new solo record and is taking part in a recording project with friends from RATT and the ALICE COOPER band. No further information is currently available.
