Former WHITESNAKE Guitarist To Hit The Road

M3 and classic WHITESNAKE guitarist Micky Moody is currently putting the finishing touches on a new studio album, due out later this year. In anticipation, the MICKY MOODY BAND will be playing the following dates:

Oct. 21 - Kite Club, Station Hotel, Talbot Road, Blackpool, Lancs
Oct. 22 - The Cluny, 36 Lime Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland
Oct. 23 - Limelight Club, Hightown, Crewe, Cheshire
Oct. 24 - Swindon Arts Centre, Devizes Road, Swindon, Wilts
Oct. 27 - The Boardwalk, Snig Hill, Sheffield, Yorks
Oct. 28/29 - The Famour Bein Inn, Glenfarg, Perth & Kinross, Scotland
Oct. 30 - The Renfrewshire Ferry, Glasgow, Scotland

Micky has also secured a publishing deal with SAF Publishing for his biography, "Playing with Trumpets", tentatively due in 2006. The book is described as a "humourous account" of Moody's "early days in the music business, including [his days] with THE ROADRUNNERS with Paul Rodgers, travels with TRAMLINE and LUCAS AND THE MIKE COTTON SOUND, package tour and cabaret with GENE PITNEY, madness with ZOOT MONEY, and reaching rock star status with JUICY LUCY."
