FOZZY Frontman Discusses Co-Hosting Upcoming REVOLVER GOLDEN GOD AWARDS

Possum Hill of Revolver TV conducted an interview with professional wrestler, actor, author and FOZZY frontman Chris Jericho about his upcoming stint as the co-host of the second annual Revolver Golden God Awards. Watch the chat below.

Nominees for the second annual Revolver Golden God Awards were announced on Wednesday (February 17) at the Rainbow Bar & Grill on Hollywood's Sunset Strip. Among the multiple nominees in the nine categories were METALLICA, ALICE IN CHAINS, BLACK SABBATH offshoot HEAVEN & HELL and THEM CROOKED VULTURES. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 8 at Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles and be televised on May 22 on VH1 Classic. Tickets will be available to the public and go on sale this Friday (February 19).

On hand for the press conference were JUDAS PRIEST frontman Rob Halford, PANTERA and HELLYEAH drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott, MOTÖRHEAD mainman Lemmy Kilmister and MEGADETH leader Dave Mustaine, among others.

Rob Halford will receive a special Revolver Golden God Award, while Kilmister will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Last year's Golden God winner, Ozzy Osbourne, will present Halford's award, while Dave Grohl will do the honors for Kilmister.
Performers at the event will include ROB ZOMBIE, AS I LAY DYING, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA and others.

Voting is now open to the public until March 31 at the Revolverweb site.
